Nothing has changed since. And the old logs are regularly deleted.
I can tell you one thing for certain, the server load is perfectly fine. Most of the time all I see is 0.00 0.00 0.00

I always end up raging so hard that I question why I even bother playing the damn game. The majority of my 1400 hours has been spent playing in TD, but I simply can't take this anymore. I can go into just about any other pub and perform like I always do, but I don't want to play in those servers.

Lag spikes are part of the server's fabric. Would I like them gone? Yes. Do I mind them? Not really. I play for fun, and if I end up in a clutch situation and it happened, I would just laugh.
However, if lag spikes happened during MM....

lel I don't buy that. Fun is a really relative term. People enjoy the game for all sorts of reasons. Some people play the game to win because they get pleasure from getting good scores.
The lag spikes weren't part of the server's fabric before the game derped on us. We used to have very smooth gameplay in the server.
Edit: I enjoy the game mainly by rushing and killing people (early in the round) like everyth1ng to prevent them form enjoying the game.

Honestly guys, we're at a dead end. There are a few more things that we want to try on our end when @Gatherix has some free time. But beyond that, I don't see what else we can do. We've literally tried everything. We reinstalled the server twice since the lag, we got the host involved. And the NIC adapter was their last fix attempt. What else? We can ask to upgrade our server to something more powerful, but considering the load is fine on our current box, will another box do a difference? I'm still convinced the problem is with the host at the data center, and that it is not hardware.
Other option, Chicago. I personally don't really like that idea due to the fact that we have always branded TD as being Canadian and based out of Toronto. And now we would have a Toronto Darkly based out of Chicago. But if that's what we gotta do, then I guess we'll have to do it.

I'm still convinced it's the shitty game and it's shitty engine that causes a 'freeze' when processing its custy-ass, Pakistani code. I've noticed jitters and what appears to be lag from day 1.
This game is a cancer to gaming, to TD and to me for playing it.
I never saw source have these issues.

The occasional 2 seconds freeze up is exactly what people are complaining about.

You seem like a really good guy, and I enjoy playing with you very much, but this is just ignorant. It's far from fucking flawless.
I don't care about my score or my stats. What I care about is playing with a certain level of consistency, and I feel like I'm constantly being undermined by server performance issues.

How many of you have actually played on a different server with 30 people?
Personally I did when I was doing the "missions" Steam drops and on servers where the number of players was just as much, they had the same issues with the 1-2 seconds lag.
If the number of players is less (like 12 - 24), personally I have never seen the lag spike on our TD servers...
Increase the number to 30 on the Chicago server and I remember the same spike happening. I assume there was a reason for reducing the number of players.
I feel LB's pain... but bitching about it will not solve the issue and is seems to me poor guys have tried pretty much everything they could...

I seriously don't mind the 2 second freeze from time to time, that happen like every 5 minutes? That shit either saved my ass, I get fucked because of it, or nothing happen cause I'm just running to somewhere, either way, big fucking whoop ... seriously ...
We just got way too many state whore that cares so much about their kill/death ratio. It's a fucking pub, who fucking cares. 80 percent of the time you're killing blow avg players on pub anyways, so no, it doesn't make you look good or improve your game.
