Uhm nope, I upgraded to a Quad and BC2 ate them for dinner, and spat out double my usual FPS. Plus there are a ton of benchmarks out there showing how Quads are taking over high end gaming. I'd love to see them starting to use multi-threading but at this point it doesn't look like it

that rig will play most games today on high just fine likely including bf3 at a resolution 1080p or less. i could be wrong, but i doubt it.

Define "play" because I doubt that rig will even push 25FPS @1080, without any AA or AF. I'm sure you can see shit on high but it's not going to be a smooth experience at all.

Aye aye, that's the big advance in DX 11 - allowing games to take advantage of systems with more than two cores by threading the game to all cores. A really cool concept, I really hope they pull it off well, the gains would be huge.
