Blue Jays (and around the MLB) discussion

so what are you guys gonna say when the O's take 2 of 3 against the jays starting tonight?

Holy shit, that's what I have to say. The Orioles are playing some solid ball, and it's becoming clear that they have some pretty decent bats in their lineup. The Jays, on the other hand, are showing that despite their solid infield defense and pretty reliable pitching staff thus far, that when the bats run cold, getting those victories isn't all that easy.

I'm pretty surprised at how well the Os are playing. If the Os continue to play as they have and the Jays don't smarten up, they just might find themselves on the shit end of this division because the Rays are a team to be reckoned with, and the Yankees are always winning to buy a wild card if they can't get the division outright. The Bo Sox are a team with problems, but they are also a smart, rich team with veterans who know how to make things happen when necessary. They won't be the dominant force they were the past few seasons, but they won't tolerate extended failures without heads rolling and things changing either.

The AL East is going to be very exciting to watch this year.

Haha im just having fun with you guys. I honestly don't think they will have a chance at 4th in the division this year but its fun while it lasts. I don't get MASN here at home so i can't even watch the o's games and will not attend one while we have this owner.

The Os are looking for real.. :o I can't believe I just said that, either, but damn. They could always hit, especially in that joke of a park, but the pitching looks good. The one game I watched, that huge guy Jason Hammel pitched really well.

It's just what the AL East needed. 5 competitive teams. :frown:

meanwhile, the AL West continues to be a joke. Anybody know what the fuck is wrong with Pujols?!!

Bryce Harper is blowing my mind. No homo. The guy is only 19 and is showing unbelievable potential. Crazy.

can the jays please win 7-8 games in a row and take this league by the balls!!! I want to be able to cheer in October and harass Boston/New York fans because we are better!

The Jays are in 5th place in East and the Orioles are still tied for first with the Rays. What is happening!

It's amazing that in both the AL and NL East, both the Blue Jays and the Phillies in last are still only 3 games out of 1st and that second wildcard slot.

And how bout them Nationals. I'm going to see them on the 12th when they come up here. I hope Strasburg is pitching.
