LB is right, Toronto Darkly was mostly an afternoon/night pub - full of an older (RE: not 14; people with jobs) crowd that just wanted to have fun, shoot the shit and play some good, competitive counter-strike. It was well-administered (not the first few years, but it got there) and was like Cheers when you joined. We were ranked the #1 counter-strike server in all of Canada for quite a few years. Things were glorious!

I've been playing here for as long as I can remember, BUT not an official member until recently.
First memories of the server are of Kirock banning everyone he thought was hacking, he was my hometown hero. I miss that guy.

I can confirm Aequitus running things while everything was named Toronto Darkly and before northern resistance, may have been during the end portion of his ownership, I probably joined late. I played with Jam A LOT and man is that guy a character.. in the same way walkertaxasranger was, they had the ability to make just about anybody laugh at anytime.
First person I ever met at TD was Man-o-Fat, I was a member of TD briefly as well bout a year later under Swatguy or SwatyG.
