Plugins For Darkly Servers (TF2)

I play on darkly game servers quite a bit and I've noticed many people typing "!tp, !thirdperson and !robot" with no success. I'm a big fan of thirdperson ( not so much robot) and i was wondering WHY IS THERE A LACK OF PLUGINS ON DARKlY SERVERS! I speak for myself and many other players that visit darkly trade servers when I say that Thirdperson and maybe even !Robot should be added to darkly servers.

It's odd that you've posted because the servers are actually currently going through some updates.
One of our Admins was given permission to enter the server files and has been going through them as thoroughly as he can to add more plugins etc for the trade servers.

Sounds Great! I talked to an admin yesterday and He said I should post those plugin requests here because It would be better coming from me than from him. I look forward to the new darkly update

We've had some plugins, some are going to be tested out and see if it doesn't break the server, or cause Zacky to lose his unusuals. :>

Glad that's what you think I'm doing...

MustachesAwesomenessas, as Zackychuu said, we have been going through the servers and updated them with new plugins, fixing up the old problems, etc. Thirdperson has in fact been added to all servers by now. Many ideas are being discussed and tested to ensure they work, so none of the updates are going to be instantaneous (or necessarily simultaneous either). That said, if you or any other active players have ideas or suggestions for plugins, changes and such, please don't hesitate to let us know. The feedback is greatly appreciated. You can post said suggestions on the forum or let one of us know through Steam.

I appreciate the work you are putting into the servers. It's giving the servers a different vibe already. I personally like the radio plugin at 10% volume. Perfect mix for me.

Honestly I don't like the robot plugin. It makes people really loud when they move, which bugs me. Thirdperson I like because it doesn't change the game for those around you. I'm fine with darkly only having !radio and rtd.

The reason Robot isn't on right now is because it causes a shit ton of log/console spam. Aaaaaaaand there's other things for me to fix and work on. Aaaaaaand because it induces server seizures.

We have a lot more than thirdperson, radio, and rtd...

I know you have more plugins that don't really affect gameplay wise, all servers do. I mean that radio and rtd are the only actually used plugins (as far as I've seen) that players have access to.

We also have backpack, pricecheck, goomba stomp, and thirdperson available to anyone, and a couple others available to donators.

Wow I totally forgot about those. I never use Pricecheck, I probably should. Also thirdperson I don't think works on Toronto Trade/Idle 1, that or I don't know the commands, but Goomba stomp was added in recently wasn't it?

What commands are avaliable for donators? Also other trade servers I've seen have Donator commands such as: Custom name/font colors, pyro jetpack, and bighead; Those are just a few of my favorites.

I agree that Robot is annoying to hear that constant clomping. I just brought it up because I see people typing !robot. It makes some hats+ misc combos look cool. Its also pretty entertaining to go TP and make their legs spin round and round without their torsos moving

Speaking of Price check, many people on DNY (including me) have a problem with !pc. When you open it you cant press 0 to close it. I thought there might be something wrong with my key because this also happens with !bp(but closes once you open someones backpack), however both of my "0" keys word, ive tried multiple combinations with Num Lock with no luck. The only ways I've found to close it are leaving and rejoining the server or typing !bp and opening a random BP. Anyone else having this problem and/or know a solution to it?

Something could be wrong with your key bindings
I had a similar problem with the Admin menu where the 0 was not closing the menu, along with other menus too.
I just reset my whole key binding list, deleted all my cfg files and it's been working since.

Are you guys still taking requests on commands? The F2P (not donor) commands are pretty limited as all the good commands give gameplay advantages and we wouldnt want a bunch of noobs running around spamming commands. However, the opportuninty for donor + admin commands is endless. I think that I, an many others, would be more compelled to donate if there were better commands (and advertisements for them.)
