i'm getting sick of my job and if i don't get promoted in the next few months i want to start looking for a new one, just wondering if yall have any inspiring ideas on what kind of employers i should look toward for getting more than $15 an hour stable 40 hour weeks and i have no qualifications but i've been working for a while in errr finance related problem solving shit.

frankly, i would be happy as piss even to work in a factory if the starting wage were fifteen bones an hour.

no dick or AIDS related options will be considered.

Just a heads up, but...
"No qualifications" and "finance" generally don't mix well.

Over 25, and its the working life for you, pal.

How married are you to your current geographical location?

It might be your current skillset doesn't fit well with the local economy, so I suggest packing shit up and moving if at all possible (understanding the limitations of family, criminal history, etc)

I've kept thinking about this. How many jumps/moves on your portfolio? Honestly, if you don't have any qualifications, employers then look to "softer" skills.

Ability to deal with tough people, reliability, loyalty to a company. Honestly, I'd stick it out, nothing looks worse on your resume than a shit load of 4 months jobs. If it were one or two, thats understandable, but 4-5, and its you.

Actually Hurd is from HP (not Dell). Hurd is good at building relationships with customers. Wouldn't be suprised to see him adding some growth to Oracle, but Oracle has an awful lot of presidents (3) and Ellison is kinda a prick so it might not last. I think it'd be awesome if he could get more SUN products out in the market. Not particularly thrilled with HP crap.

My portfolio is up 10% for the year... :-P
