If after you've spent every round telling people to rock the vote and you don't get more than 8 people to rock the vote out of the 20+ required, then don't change the map!

i don't get it.

You mean stay on that map when a failed attempt to rockthevote occurs even after map time is up?

I think you are saying after the team switch, RTV should not be able to happen.
e.g On nuke when t's rtv the first half and then when cts go as T's they RTV to get the map over with?

Lol, wtf.

I think what Bgen is advocating for here is that the server be run like a democracy, as the rules of the server (such as RTV) would imply.

IMO admins should never just change the map, unless to keep the server populated.

i agree. dont fuck with the map, unless its 2am and the choices are dust2 vs mass bail

Ok i'll explain what happened. This has happened several times on different maps but it happens much more often on militia.

So... We're playing militia and we're at the 7th round. So far, every round since the 1st, Admin X has been asking people to rock the vote and by the 7th round, there was only 8 people who had rtv and the server was full. Now admin X had already popped a map vote on the 3rd round and frost had won and at the end of the 7th round, the map was changed to frost.

The point I wanted to make was that the majority didn't want to change the map and that the admin should respect the wishes of the majority even if he personaly doesn't like the map. Thats it.

Enough said.

The admin in question was myself and I switched the map from militia to frost.

Militia is a shitty map. I'm glad I switched it and might do it again in the future. Other admins do this as well because most of us agree on how bad this map is. Have a nice day Stuart.
