Diablo3 (again)

When I tried to play 3 weeks ago, they were down for good.

Pretty sad battle.net doesnt work if thats the case.

Edit:After doing a quick google search, i read that theyre resetting the ladder on May 2nd so im assuming battle.net for d2 still works.

lol used to play modem games with my buddy back in the day! we even made a guy named Captain Gem, who was a level 1 barb with all of his bags filled up with perfect gems lmao! HAX!

I don't think they're down for good. The collectors edition comes with the USB stick that already has d2 + expansion loaded on. I doubt they would take servers down for good.

So who pre-ordered? I didn't yet, but after trying the beta, I'm thinking I want to... I missed D2, and D3 seems like fun from the game play in the open beta. I cleared it with all toons except the barbarian! I always loved Diablo because they were not MMO, and I could sink in as much time as I could afford without too much worries! With MMO, not so much.

I preordered it. Nice benefit is getting the installer early so you can beat the thousands of people trying to download and install at the same time and skip the line to straight patching it since it ll probably be slow the first day.

Not an mmo. Many consider it as the game that set the bar and popularized action-rpg games. No monthly fees. A lot of re-playability value. Fun, fast paced, and gory! The new auction house functions on real word currency, so the items you get in game will earn you real cash (Blizzard's idea to eliminate selling of items on e-bay!). I switched to PC gaming because of the first Diablo, and at the time I was still living at home. My parents took away my mouse and keyboard enough times to have a closet full of just that, but I always managed to get new ones (I'd stay up all night playing then go to school and sleep through math classes).
