Power Supply just went KABLOOEY. So you won't see me around the Darkly servers any time soon. I can still post on the forums though (obviously). Nano, if you see this, tell strynado why I won't be on. Hopefully I can buy a new one soon (Power Supply, not PC.). We'll have to see...

I don't keep my PC running 24/7, however I go on it for about 8 hours a day. (with breaks, don't worry.)

I'll consider getting one of these. They seem to be a good make.

Also, I don't own a phone/tablet. But thanks anyway!

80 Plus is all about efficiency but the cost to savings ratio on your hydro bill for Platinum or Titanium isn't there. Gold stands at a sweet spot and you'll notice more higher quality built supplies start at this level and that may be more of the factor than the efficiency. For the long term consider getting a pure sine wave UPS to protect your electronics. CyberPower provides adequate equipment for a reasonable cost.

Since you're on a budget I'd recommend you stay within it because you shouldn't need all those bell and whistles.

Read the tier breakdown and keep looking for deals at NCIX (US, CA), Newegg (US, CA), Amazon (US), CanadaComputers (CA). If you're adventurous even look for thrown out PCs as they can be a source for parts and can be re-purposed into a NAS, Router, etc.

Bad news. Turns out my mom got scammed outta her credit card details. So now we have no money. I have internet until the end of january though. So, hopefully we'll be sorted by then. If not, I'm moving in with my sister.

Well anyway, I sure hope Darkly sorts out the DDoS problem, and I fix muh PC problem soon.

Are you local to GTA? If so, i have a good power supply i can give you for $50. Corsair GamerXtream 750W, runs quiet. I'll get you the exact model tomorrow when I'm back home (going out from work).
