Junior you should make and sell custom cases. I'm sure you could turn around and sell one (with the same materials cost) for $250+. Only question is how much time it takes you to make one.

I just know people are willing to throw a lot of money away on super expensive cases just because they look cool.

Your's looks like it has substantially better airflow than many I've seen and it looks cool.

Nice job man.

I actually am willing to throw away money on a custom case. fuck, I mean its about time.

If you want, I can put you in touch with a guy that does it as well, but he's more of a gfx artist. Does. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. work.

but I'd rather give my cash to you...

Haha you give me too much credit... realistically, in colder weather, it would take about 2-3 days
[/quote1289232021]

took so long because its a prototype. if u actually produce them, ull have all the measurements, stencils and tools on hand.

Ok i can see the pics now.

Looks like you are not finished yet.

Your panels are pretty thick. But it's better for structural integrity. Bad thing about is that cutting out the sections for 5 1/4" drives, psu, motherboard.

Measure twice , cut it once :)

Looking very nice.

You should check out the work logs on overclock.net You can get lot of information and cool ideas from there.

I worked with plexi glass this summer but not for a computer case. A rear diffuser for my car :D

It is tricky sometimes. Never force screwing something to it without drilling 1 size smaller with a drill bit. If you dont you will prolly crack the piece.

When you cut your 5 1/4" drives. Drill 4 corners first w/o going over your guidelines using 5/16" drill bit.. Then start cutting with a dremel or jigsaw. This way you can have clean corners and not having the risk of cutting too much at the corners.

Ya airflow was king before look. Most of the look was centred around the floating mobo design I came up with. I wanted to cool under the mobo as well as on top. Also this provides cleanx cool air for the psu and soon to be mounted (and heatsinked) hard drives, and dvd drives.

I'm gonna do some cable management tonight, and get the top lid on to imprve the push pull. The lid will have another200mm exhaust in it to aid thr exhaust side of things.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Oh ya, @ extreme: hell ya, I drilled pilot holes with the smallest bit I had, then bored out as needed. For most holes id find myself going through 3-5 bits (pending the size of hole needed). Ya she's rally thick, but like hell I was going to work my ass off only to have it crack a year later lol

Oh ya and on every hole drilled, id have the plexi clamped (very hard!!) to a large piece of 1/2" mdf so they really came out clean.
