Well, this game is fun, but man is it hard to catch up to you fuckers. It's like, if you don't start on day 1, you're toodled.

TOOO-DELD.

Game is actually fucking awesome, its totally taken hold on me.

Playing with Towndrunk and cuz honks over the weekend, getting smashed, holy fuck is it fun, so many sidequests. thats all I do these days, I'm leveled to 22, and just poking around here and there.

It's like playing one reaaally long L4D campaign, just the boys going at er... tons of fun, tons of shit to do, tons of various weapon combo's and shit, and you can kinda tool off on your own if you like, or you can fight together. It's as fucking blast.

The game reaaaally reminds me of deus ex (orig) with some smattering of system shock.

Oh, and they have like a bazillion varieties of guns, you just can't see it in the first 15 minutes of the game.

But I've got a double barrelled shotgun that, I kid you not, is straight out of doom. Do you fuckers know how long I've been trying to find a game that gave me the same feel as pumping a dude with 12 gauge shot from 3 meters out in doom?

FOREVER.

*boom* clackclackclack *BOOM* clackclackclack *BOOM* clackclackclack

Close up, nothing rivals the shottie for putting badasses down.

I have a fire shotgun, that when you run out of ammo and reload, he tosses the gun at dudes and it explodes...brilliant

I have one of those for my rocket launcher, and now it actually seeks. I basically poon all comers.

I love playing with Town and Cuz, cause they flip around and act like queers, and I just go in, set up my girlfriend, and go. to. town.

And the best thing is, cuz has some mod that he can bring me back to life have way across the map, so I basically, yeah, I poon.

Come join, I saw you playing last night, but I was just wandering around.

I agree, people who automatically assumed BL2 would be shit cuz of their experience with BL1 are just plain wrong.

I got BL2, and they pretty much take the successful shit from BL1 and keep it for BL2 while expanding upon the world, story and other things. There are some grief aspects of the game, like not being able to fast travel since the damn FT points are so sparse and shit. However, the game overall is pretty damn fun, and yea, with a couple pals it really comes alive.

The best part of the game, besides guns n loot, is the voice acting and scripting. There have been so many lolzy moments based on the characters you interact with and meet. The voice acting is just superb and hillarious.

Is it worth $60? Well again, depends on your mindset. Any game nowadays thats priced at $60 can be considered worth it or a waste. I think BL2 is worth it, but if you can get in for 50% or something a month from now, even better reason to get it.

Main story has gotta be like 20+ hours of gameplay, add the side quests and its probably closer to like 100 hours.

100% agree in the voice acting, and art presentation. Super slick, totally pulls you in.

I'm probably half way through the main quest, but there is a ton of replay here. I'm going to sup my guy into having the two turrets and then proceed to rape the game.

Honestly though, my old skool opinion is, I don't mind not being able to fast track around. In the old days, you actually had to fucking walk everywhere, and there is something to be said about "the trek". Made you really appreciate the far sides of the map, and the struggle it takes to get there. Now in modern games you just warp around.

I'm trying to get the buckshot sisters into this game, because I think it would be right up there ally, plus there isn't any sort of rage quit times, if you die, you basically spawn back to the nearest point, and rejoin the battle, with your mates, none of this L4D die in a horde of zombies and restart the whole bloody campaign.

I like the balance, of how it puts the focus on blasting fools without worrying about the consequence of dying. That being said, there are some mother fucking tough guys out there. I don't know, I just like how they got the "balance"
