Shit becomes worthless.I'm gonna be buying some of that as well, why not. Trow a few hundred in and see what happens...
As long as there's brainwashed people like there are on TD, saying Bitcoin will take over the currencies of the world it won't lolShit becomes worthless.
How the fuck do you mine bitcoin? Just curious. But I'm mining like 1 Bitcoin every 2 days. It was 1 a day at one point.
Probably $18kYou get a btc every few days? How much do you have invested in your mining set up?
They have specific machines you can buy just for Bitcoin, and you basically join a mining pool where you pull together everyone's mining power and split the profits evenly. Butterfly labs is the top place to buy from, but they aren't the most cost efficient, just the most popular. Cointerra I think is the most efficient bang for your buck but they just sold out their first batch and the next one isn't expected until February or March I believe. Basically it's a small rig without a monitor (I connect mine through my laptop, you need a laptop or computer running 24/7 to connect through that runs the software for most rigs right now). They push out a lot of heat and I actually have to turn my air conditioner on sometimes even though it's like 30 degrees outside, and easily cost me upwards of $150 a month in electricity bills. I'm actually running out of power in my apartment and don't know if I can handle anymore lolHow the fuck do you mine bitcoin? Just curious.

I'd rather try to capitalize on this nonsense than let it fly by, like I did with Bitcoin..
See SJ? lolI dunno man, it has potential. Acceptance keeps growing and growing, but the big-time investors are holding off because there's no guarantee of its value and volatility is still a major issue. Once all the BTCs get mined it could crash down to pennies in value, and if by that time it becomes mainstream enough then I think serious investors might deem it a risk worth taking to pump millions in and buy it out of the basement. Right now it's still just big boy play money. I mean it's worth what, $500, and still being used for petty transactions like buying coffee and a zip of herb off the net. If real investors were to step in and guarantee stability by investing millions, it could very well become the world's new favorite currency.
