all prices after rebate , before tax:

evga x58 sli le - 200
corasir TX750W psu - 100
corsair dominator 3channel 6GB 8-8-8-24 - 220
HAF 932 - 140


all my shit is still packaged !!! i still can return some shit. any recommendations ???

looks like your paying a premium for everything lol, dont hold back on the gpu ati 5850 or gtx 470

i recommend u return and save at least a $100 right there getting from ncix

also you could save some moneys and still have a best computer, maybe gtx 260, return that 930 ram and mobo for i5-750 build, you will probaably save a grand when all is said and done

also protip dont go into stores when ure high and buy half an expenseive ass computer lol

That is almost the same machine I have:

Intel Core i7 930 @ 4.0 GHz | EVGA x58 SLI LE | BFG GTX 260 (216) @ 590/2000 MHz | 6GB G. Skill Pi Series DDR3 PC12800 @ 7-8-7-24 | Corsair HX850 850W

I paid about $1500 in total (with taxes, shipping, etc).

i7 930 @ 4.0Ghz? holy shit overclock XD that's 2 core turbo boost at 4.0ghz or all 4? but damn 130 W cpu :o that's like $50+ a month extra on the electric bill XD

Make sure to set your RAM timings to match the recommended settings in the BIOS manually, sometimes the auto setting will burn out your ram in a year. Had this happen to ares.

running at 4.0 is like double power consumption than 3.5 , from what ive seen on some OC charts. sick ram u got.

It's all 4 cores at 4.0 with HT off.
I'm going to try to hit my ceiling as 4.0 @ 1.2v only hits about 60C under full load from LinX/Prime 98.

And yep, I set my RAM to run at the correct ratio so they should last quite a while (until I get 12GB of RAM, muahaha).

The motherboard should support Crossfire just fine. (It supports SLI and Crossfire).

As for your heatsink, definitely get the Prolimatech Megahalem. You won't find better for the price, but make sure your case is large enough (the thing is fucking huge).
