Wind Mobile

Last bill with Bell was like $75, fuck that shit, used 25 text messages and 550 minutes last month.

Going to wind, grabbing the $45 unlimited plan, not sure what phone to get, I'll probably get the Huawei U1250 ($70). I'll let y'all know how it goes, Wind seems to be really great option if you live in their home zones.

I have been with wind for over 2 months~ now, their service is really good, I used to be with virgin and their $15 prepaid/month, it was good 30c/min and 15c/txt which is about 50mins/month or 100 txts/month but they both eat out of the $15 prepaid.

Good thing Wind had that $150 credit when you port your #, now I am getting like free service for almost a year!

their $15 plan blows all the competitors cheap plans away, 100 mins and 50 txts, can upgrade to unlimited txts for $5. so for $20/month thats not bad!

edit: I forgot to also mention, if u don use all ur 100 mins, say u used 50 mins out of 100, it carries over next month for free! so the next month you'd have 150 mins to use! texts also carry over!

Never realized how epic Keeripes' avatar was until now.

I cut together a corporate promo for Wind Mobile when they were just starting out. Adorable. They seem like a legit company

What the fuck can you do with 100 minutes a month?

I hardly use my phone and still manage 300minutes and about 300 texts a month...

$40 for unlimited minutes and texts for me :]

damn, wind sounds good. manitoba suuucks blows. we only have MTS, Telus and Rogers.

i'm with telus on a three year contract that is up in august, three years is too long. need a new phone mostly, been through the washer and run over by a car.. what a trooper.

-Super Talk 10 ($10) -250 mins
-250 texts/month ($5) -I average around 300-350, i guess i don't learn.
-Caller ID ($7) <-- this rages me.

Total with fees = $35-$40/month depending on texts.

bottom line, i'm not really satisfied, but decent. wind sounds good though!

lol idk, i managed to talk less than 50 mins a month for the past 3 years.

I don't use my cell phone for long conversations just for like work and meet ups. I txt ppl for free from the web and use my free VOIP phone for everything else.

$40 - unlimited phone from Burlington to Barrie, all local.
$5 - call ID/Name Display
$10 - unlimited text (outgoing, incoming already free)
$30 ($20*) - 6GB data/month

** Don't pay system access fee, and now my data plan costs me $20 because I complained. :D

Wind is having some challenges starting up here in Canada. very normal for a comapny opening in a new market... they are in need of cash flow for towers... me and my colleague are trying to win their office stationary contract and they are asking us for 90 day payment terms, which is pretty unreasonable...anyway.. its a good chance for those that can jump on the cheap plan bandwagon now, cause its a matter of time before they will increease plan pricing as soon as they have a good customer base...

i'd take the 90 days man a company like this is gonna pay their debts eventually

see how much you love wind when your incentives run out and you're stuck paying full price for shit coverage. go with fido. best gsm coverage in canada, no contracts and fair prices considering the alternatives.

the problem is getting Snr Management to approve the 90days. our standard payment terms are net 30, its very rare we bend to even 60.

If we're talking globally, then yes, of course Canada is rape on plans. If we're talking within Canada, then I'm not getting raped. To get what I'm getting it would cost someone about $150+... faack that.
