I wouldn't take Windows Experience/Performance Index to heart. Fact that it bases it's score on the lowest rating you get (usually ur HDD), doesn't determine how well your comp performs.

There are other benchmarking software tools out there. If you wanna see how your comp runs GFX, there is 3DMark and newer shit. If you wanna test memory stability and performance there is memtest. And to see CPU stability and perfromance there is CPUMark, PassMark, etc.

WARNING THO! The test is actually VERY intense. My laptop made noises i have never heard before when i ran that test. Gets EXTREMELY hot.

Go 2gigs of ddr2 ram... Not bad for a used 120 dollar machine I bought last october. Added an ssd a couple months ago, plays whatever I need it to at least =)
