Warning: SteelSeries Engive vs. Roccat Talk

It just happened to me and I want you to know so you won't face the same bullshit as me;

SteelSeries Engine and Roccat Talk (Drivers) are NOT compatible.

My gf got me a Roccat Kone+ mouse for X-mas and I ordered a SteelSeries Apex Raw last week and received it yesterday. Both products work fine without drivers but as soon as you install SteelSeries Engine, Roccat products (mouse, keyboard, etc) stop working. They shut off. Even if the engine is turned off, the problem persists. There is no solution to this. Both companies point fingers at each other and no actual fixes are worked on.

Since the Apex has macros and I can't use them, I've been granted an RMA from NCIX to return it...

Fuckin sucks.

I guess this explains why my Roccat loving friend got a new mouse when he switched to a SteelSeries mechanical keyboard.

Thanks for the heads up, this is useful information incase anyone is gonna upgrade soon.
