The USP-S is amazing for getting one shot head shots against unarmored opponents, if your accuracy is good. You'll get punished badly on pistol rounds if your aim is bad, though.
No, you don't. Go into your inventory and select it as your starting pistol. It will replace your P2000.

This is why I recommend the P250 to people for CT side pistol rounds. It's cheap, it's good at getting head shots at close and long distances, and it does a ton of damage to armored opponents. If your aim is off, you'll still do good damage. If your aim is on point, it's great for getting head shots.

USP-S is a good pistol. Just needs more rounds... just like M4A1.
@Shotgun Jesus ... can you set the default pistol that you start with to be P250 so that both sides will have them on round start?
That will give some epic first round battled I think... armor and P250s.

@Hinouchi , if you're going to tap it like that, you might as well just buy the P250.
And as for TD pistol rounds, I think the money should actually be lowered to what it is in MM so that the default pistols are actually useful for those that don't want to buy one of the other pistols. As it stands right now, trying to kill an opponent with armor and a helmet with one of the default pistols is fucking retarded.

I'm surprised T doesn't have a replacement for the Glock yet. I can't kill anything with that. Been using the Tec-9 for so long, it became my favorite weapon according to CSGO.
The CZ is a weird one for me. Sometimes you run into people you can pop quickly and don't bounce around like fucking rabbits. I honestly cannot find a use for it as I am too used to the USP-S' slow but accurate and silenced rounds, then the Five-Seven which I forget where said it was the best weapon for pistol rounds. I can quickly land head-shots with it faster than the CZ and that's through spamming the upper body portion of T. It also, if not mistaken, reloads faster.

The Glock was a beast during the beta for CS:GO, but it's not so much anymore. It still gets the job done, though. In MM I tend to stick with it on pistol rounds and use my money to buy armor.

Tec9 owns big time... popped from behind a corner shot 5 shots, 3 headshots in like 5 seconds.
Funny thing is that in real life, Tec9s can be fully auto... wonder why they aren't in the game :).

What alternative do you want for the glock? It's already better than the USP/P2000 in 5v5.
