My friend recently got married and she moved to Grand Cayman for the next couple years to get her art studio off the ground. She was taking commissions for V-day and I figured I would get a painting done for Justine n I at our new apt.

I wanted a painting of a cityscape from a place we both travelled to and Paris was one her fave places in Europe so...I have the corner cafe changed to Cafe de 2 Moulins from Montmarte where Amelie was filmed (since we stopped there too for coffee n popcorn)

I use postimage. Basically, once the service asks for an account and/or money, I just google another "image upload" till a free one comes up.

I think she normally charges a minimum of $400 for a piece with it increasing depending on size of the piece + materials used

She lives down in Grand Cayman but I am circumventing shipping since a mutual friend is goin down to visit this month and will bring the painting back to Canada for me to pick up. If I had to get it shipped, it would be mighty pricier.

She has a facebook page, its called "In-Tents Art" since she goes to the beach with her tent and paints...check it out n send a msg if you really are interested in gettin something done
