Upgrade update!

Everything has arrived!
Yay!

Except...the AMD brackets for the Zalman CPU Fan were too flat..so I've contacted the place I got them from and they are going to contact Zalman for me, to get me some new brackets.
To see what I'm talking about...

So...I may be without a PC for a few days, unless I decide to install the stock fan.

I've also decided not to use the Chaser MK-1 case, and I will stick with my smaller case, for now at least.
I realised that the Chaser wasn't for me, and I'm just going to skip the case for now.

So yeah...fun times...

Yep, it came with Intel brackets and AMD brackets.
The Intel ones are perfectly fine...but the AMD ones are flat as a pancake...

Well maybe when I get a job and some more money, I might decide to change my mobo next time I upgrade.
I didn't want to this time cause I wanted to save some money :P

I've been thinking about going Intel for a while, but I need more monies to get a mobo AND decent cpu.

While I don't prefer AMD products when compared to Intel, I do recognize that they're really not that that much slower for the price drop... meaning, I think AMD is WAY better bang for the buck compared to Intel, so I can appreciate building AMD systems... they get the job done, for the price.

I agree, i give AMD shit just cuz i can :) they have certainly come a long way since they first appeared n their chip architecture is getting pretty good. It is a value cpu but yea it provides the bang for its buck.

I've seen that quite a few times and I honestly don't get the point.
Well ok, the idea is to move the parts around to where you want them to be...
But I would just leave it sat there as a normal PC.

Plus it looks kinda weird..
