SteamID: STEAM_0:0:43052731
Previous Clan/Community affiliations: None specifically. When I was notoriously a console gamer, I spent a fair amount of my time working with small Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty clans. However, for the purpose of the application, I have no previous clan affiliations.
Real First Name: Caleb
Age: 20

Which DARKLY TF2 servers do you play on: I spend the majority of my time playing on Darkly Toronto Trade #2. I have also played on #1 and #4 a decent amount. If someone were to look for me, #2 is their best bet.
Why do you want to be a DARKLY TF2 Admin:
I can start off by saying that I know and understand that I have yet to play on the Darkly forums for a full month. My decision for posting my application was made due to my shear desire for helping out the community. Not only that, but other admins of the server have distilled upon me their recommendation of filling out the application although I have yet to meet the requirement.
When I imagine a player moderator, I envision a person who has an uncanny ability to lead. Most of the admins (if not all) that I have gotten to know on the Darkly servers have all been great leaders and display their ability in a cunning way. In my lifetime, I have been given the chance to be a leader in many of my fields of expertise. I was President of my class during my senior year of high school. This role taught me how to deal with people in debacles and adequately resolve all problems. In my high school years, I spent 4 years as the team captain of my Track and Field team. Yes, as a freshman I was team captain. This title was given to me due to the fact that the coach understood that when I commit myself to something, I will uphold as much responsibility as I can when making such a thing as best as possible. As most would be able to imagine, within those 4 years as captain, I had to deal with many people disobeying rules and starting fights not unlike those which occur on the server. Another leadership position that I participated in took place during my freshman year of college. I was accepted into a program known as EMERGE. EMERGE is a leadership program that takes in high placement students and goes through a few weeks of training into becoming a better leader. Some of the activities we did included learning how to resolve problems, learning how to deal with people who do not cooperate, learning how to take control of any situation, and overall, learning how to lead. My many years of leadership training has brought me to this point; wanting to be a Darkly server moderator.
There have been moments on the server that tested my moderating abilities. I have had to talk to players that were mic spamming songs, talk to players who think it is okay to spam the chat, talk to players who for some reason are in a fight with each other, and as inhumane as it may sound, talk to a full grown man who was cussing out a younger child. These experiences were tough, I can admit that. However, I enjoyed being able to be the middle man. I thoroughly enjoy helping people out, regardless of the situation.
So why do I want to be a Darkly TF2 Admin? This question is simple. I love the community. In the few weeks I have played on the server, I have met some amazing people. I have been able to grow as a person and hope that in the near future I will be able to help others grow in the same fashion. A moderator needs to be nice, understanding, stern, happy, and willing to help people. But if a moderator does not enjoy what he/she is doing, then there is no point in moderating. I enjoy it, and hope that I can some day help the Darkly community in this way.
YES/NO Questions:
Do you have a minimum of 1 month on the server with at least 60 hours of play? I can admit with the utmost honesty that I have yet to play on Darkly servers for a full month. It has been about 3 weeks. At the current time, I have around 4 days of game play on the servers.
Do you have a mic? Yes. Although I typically use my laptop mic (Which in itself is very good quality), I also own a pair of Turtle Beaches.
Are you in good standing with the community? Yes. Many people know me by name on the server. I have been able to build up a reputation as not only a well rounded trader, but an overall nice fellow. I have never once came into a quarrel with another person on the server, and any time something like this ends up happening between, I do as I can to resolve all problems.
Are you at least 18 years of age? Yes, I am currently 20 years old.
