im gonna use it for lube to rape white

edit: lapping cpu = extreme shady territory. id be concerned about metal dust. not for me lol

I always use Arctic Silver 5. Doesn't "cure" (dry out) like the garbage white stuff so it can still be reused.

I was wet-sanding the CPU so no dust went into the air, but since I did it out in the park there was a lot of sun drying out the water so it was more like wet and dry. Either way, both nickel and copper are fairly dense so I wouldn't worry about inhaling anything. You should see how machinists fuck with aluminum!

<--- metal worker/machinist. i was more worried about metal dust getting on the "business side" of the chip.

i also use arctic silver 5, that makes us bros ! metallic compound = bait central. i was shitting bricks when i was applying it to my $350 chip. tinted cooler and cpu then applied in a line. why does the noctua-12 cooler has a ribbed base and not mirror !?!?!? i raged.

so the chip can feel it more :D

yeah a lot of crap found its way onto the chip terminals but i cleaned it off with rubbing alcohol before using, it was no big deal
