As you may have read on the front page news, we have a new 24 player pub, and it's vanilla or bare bones (everything is stock) if you want to call it that. I am making this thread to answer any questions people may have, and I will start by giving you a few facts:

1) All weapons are enabled, including AWP/Auto
2) First team to win 13/25 rounds wins, and the timer is default, so i think the max time for the map is 45 minutes
3) There are no mods (bet/mug/etc.) with the exception of Admin
4) The map rotation is Stock, but we did not put compound in because we know most people hate that map

i think this is a great use of the box/free space. i like the gameplay mucho....

could we add teamswap? or is autobalance enough. and !dropC4. kills the round if a the bomb is afk.

Teamswap and dropc4 are needed for sure. Gotta tk the bomb if he is afk, gheyyyy. Will add those two.

it was fun to play it one last time, and in all fairness i got voted. people should suck it up sometimes, but good choice!

i won't cry for the loss of assault but it's a shame to see it go since it's possibly the only map in the whole game that truly forces CTs to strategize carefully. that and 747 really epitomize the concept of CS

I always thought vanilla referred to 'original version' or first release. Technically, your removing features, so wouldn't it be barebone?
But I like the awps >;D

-dont worry about auto balance mod, just give admins team swap.

-yeah take away havana, italy, and assault

If we add custom maps, it kind of takes away from the whole stock vanilla feel. idk

I say keep stock maps for now. There's no downloading of maps needed, and like Honky said, there's so many guys that join that are total noob or say they haven't played CS:S in years.
