Hey I haven't played cs: s in forever but the other night I just felt the urge to play some cs source so I did. I enjoyed it, I didn't realize I was not in a pub cause I saw awpers and I couldn't bet then I realized it was not the pub

Should have evened the teams instead of score whoring you nub.

Is it just me or was the stock server 24 players not too long ago? Showing up as 32 under the browser. =[
 
here are some of my suggestions to improve the server:
- I see that the player count has gone down to 26 which is better but imo 24 should be the max for this type of server
-imo there should be no team attack attack damage or a kill penalty(freeze bomb, slay, ect...) except for a warn and maybe a votekick. the slap is really annoying and is for 32 player pubs if that
-I think the map selection right now is lacking and hurting the server the most. the original map rotation was awesome except for a few maps: de_dust,de_cpl_fire, de_port. I swapped out for some maps that I think would be good style and this would be a pretty good rotation:

so to sum it up: 24 player count was/is the best and it allows for all maps to be played with teamwork and strategy, the team attack/kill add ons take away from the seriousness and is redundant on this type of server, and some more maps would be really nice since the rotation goes pretty damn fast and it would help keep the server filled for longer. I loved this server before but i hardly play in it cuz there's rarely anyone playing in it and when there is it dies pretty fast playing the same few maps over & over, I think these things will help in getting more players to stay and I hope to see more people on it. and having the stats mod i s good too.

No team attack on a stock server (with 24 max players no doubt) would be retarded.

What kind of strategy is it when a bunch of guys run into a room while their team bombards it with nades to make sure whatever is in it dies?

With team attack on (like its supposed to be played), you dont have to worry about that sort of faggotry.

Oh and do tell how playing on a stock server with team attack (stock) is redundant.

promoting the IP doesn't really help that much, the only time there was actually steady traffic was during that GO beta giveaway. It sucks because here's an empty server that's just as good as the main pub but nobody's on it so there's no point joining, meanwhile the TD pub is so full constantly I just give up on playing CS altogether lately because it takes longer for a slot to open than I was intending to play for anyway.

And thus, I got to thinking and now I have a suggestion: the beta key giveaway was based on awarding loyalty points for time spent in the stock maps server, so what if that continued, and the person with the most loyalty points accrued at the end of each week could redeem them for a week of access to a reserved slot on the main pub that nobody else could use for that time? It would be impossible for any one player to dominate this system because getting access to a reserved slot on the main pub would mean the winner each week would spend the next week playing exclusively in the main pub, knowing that there will be no wait. That is of course assuming that the thing everyone wants is access to the main pub, which seems to be the evident as there is a perpetual waiting line for main pub access while the stock map server sits completely empty a lot.
 
Sorry i wasn't clear, I didn't mean turn off friendly fire I'm talking about the server add-on that slaps you for -10 dmg when you hit your teammate
