Steam comes to Mac

It's coming this April! Portal 2 will be the first official simaultaneous PC-Mac release, and their working on bring all titles over including TF2, L4D(2) etc etc

Leroy, all Mac Pro's have two video cards: a 256MB for everyday tasks, and a seperate 512MB when you throw something more intense, so it's not bad.

Nowhere near PC, no, you're absolutely right.

It's just nice (for me) because I do everything on my Mac hard drive EXCEPT game, so now I just won't have to reboot

Hell ya, you are right. No Mac will ever compete in terms of performance. It will win in quality construction, design and operating system hands down, but never overall performance.

I heard a great analogy as to how the operating systems work. Consider each Operating system is an appartment.

Mac is the best appartment money can buy, and comes with nothing but top quality furniture, except it is bolted to the floor and you cant change anything around.

Windows isnt very high end, but you can move your furniture around to suit your needs.

With Linux, you build your own fucking furniture.
