Dunno how it'll pan out, but i have seen the controller typing system before and it is fantastic.

Bumming around the beta on my PC right now. Works great. controller typing is still my favorite improvement over console on screen keyboards

Firefox eats at least as much with only a few tabs open for me. Steam for Linux should become a lot leaner like just about every other cross-platform app is.

Reminds me of a console a lot and Windows 8 Metro, too. It's whatever. Steam is still very bloated, but can't do without it.
