Not to put a damper on your sales thread, but my co-worker just bought a brand new 2008 CBR 125R for $3k tax inc. on the road -- something for people to compare prices/value with.

Not a bad price for a super clean starter bike. Someone jump on this.

thanks.

Would you rather buy a 2008 civic for $18k or a 2007 for $12k? I mean, 1/3 off the price for a year of use isn't bad. That's the way I was looking at it.

You know what would be better? If you bought a 2009 used Enzo for $650k rather than a new one for $1mil. YOu save $350k!

Save percentages only matter if the price tag is high -- or if it's hockey.

And a question for 647RFD: Did you buy it new or used?

Why you guys hating, the man posted a ride, buy it or don't, but don't hate lol
[/quote1272300341]
I'm not hating. I'm just trying to help any potential buys make an informed decision. 647RFD is trying to save money, he's a student, blah blah blah. I get that. Which is why I asked whether he bought the bike new because most of his other posts on the forums gives me the impression that he bought his bike used which then make said bike that's being sold a 3rd-hand bike. And for < $1k more, I'd rather pick up a brand spanking new one. That's all I'm saying.

I bought it used! its my 2nd bike! I had a red one before I bought it in black! I don't think ill be buying any vehicles new unless I win the lottery or get a career that pays 50k+/yr

also I think the bike is sold, someone put a deposit down...
