I play on some servers that have, "welcome to whatsitsfaceservername" and its done in a quake like voice.. its pretty good.. but I'm with the daywalker (redbeared), no song is a good song.

is there a way to disable the music at least on my own comp? It takes me an extra 5-10 minutes to get on a team and to get in the server because my slow ass computer cant do more than one thing at once

You mean loading the map right? cl_downloadfilter "nosounds" for downloading everything but the sound files, I believe you can turn off music in options, or atleast mute it like I do.
