I used to pull those kinds of frames when I was gaming on my laptop... pretty gay. All that glitching shit that you have happening isn't normal though, and you def should be doing better inside a small room on office than 35 or so, specially with the 50 frames outside on dust1.
If you haven't done it force a lower direct x level, BJ has a thread here somewhere explaining how. I doubled my frames doing that. Also, defragment your game cache. Actually, I would reinstall to get rid of that glitchy shit.

heh, when i was playin with my p4 and 6600 that's about what was getting and i thought the game was running perfect. with the new setup its stuck at 75, maybe drops down to 60 once in a while, now when i use the old setup, the game is pretty much unplayable.

disable vertical sync, and type in your console "fps_max 300"
its stuck at 75 because thats the average refresh rate of LCD monitors and you are "synced" to it.

nah i know about vsync man, i think its good.
with my bros computer running a 8800gtx he can probably get over 9000fps in css, but what ends up happening i think is that the power supply gets over stressed and makes an unhealthy sounding high pitched noise (i guess resistance or something). vsync corrects this issue. i've seen some guy document this on you tube with a bunch of expensive power supplies, i will try and find it...

The redline is never accurate. I think it appears right after the kill. I've scouted people who complain after that I had shot them through a cement wall.
