Reset DARKLYWorld?

Yes. New world (not griefed), fresh start for everyone. People who have hacked to get an advantage will have to start all over and play fair this time like everyone else. New plugins have been added, some are anti cheat/hacks plugins.

I think I will monitor the people who gain an awful lot of diamonds in a short amount of time.
Just in case they do manage to get past the new anti hack plugins some how.

I just have to add/fix a few more plugins and we will be ready for the reset. Probably this weekend.

I have a question about the plugins. i joined game and couldnt mine any blocks because of the griefing parameters. how am i supposed to get a pick if i cant mine materials can i just go somewhere out in the wilderness not attached to this stuff? i'd rather play without it, but i dont want to travel X blocks away and lose my spot if i die.
We should have a bomb new world by the end of the week. There won't be any issues.

There is a /kit tools plugin you can use to get yourself some basic stone tools.
You can mine anything anywhere as long as it is in Wilderness and not someone elses territory.
There is also a /sethome command you can use to set your /home at your house.
Or you can create a faction and use /f sethome which means you can also claim your land so that no one can build over it.
There is also a /back command for when you die. You can use that to get your stuff then type /home to go back to your house.
The plugins do help, you just have to get used to them and how to use them.

You can always ask me or Joe for any help you need with it.
Seeing as we both use the server quite a lot, and have gotten used to the plugins it would make sense.
I even went through the whole help list for all of the commands just to see what can be done at one point.
I would be willing to do that again and pick out the helpful ones.
I've been meaning to do it for myself so I wouldn't mind.

I think we need to get a new world soon. Some of these guys, they just do whatever the hell they want, and I can't do a damn thing about it, and Zack isn't on when these guys do it. Just a few minutes ago, despite warnings, they broke into my treehouse and killed me, repeatedly. In fact, I'm placing a ban request on Ezioandaltair and milomindbender for the deed. They also griefed our homes, and we have nothing to rebuild with. Which means we NEED to accelerate the process of getting a new world.
It's in the works. It will be well worth the wait.
And you can always go to a safezone in the event that you need to get away from griefers when an admin is not around.
P.S You can do whatever the hell you want, just as long as your are abiding by the server's rules.

I'm alright with them doing what they want, just as long as it dosen't disrupt everyone else's fun while the're doing it. And spawn killing is against the rules.
Anyway, on the subject of the new world, will there be some houses set up for us to start with?
