so i just recently discovered the wonders of trading in TF2 and found out that eventually i can earn myself a gift of premium item... but my problem is im not a premium myself...so I was wondering is there a way i can trade a gift for refined?

If I'm not mistaken, the only things f2ps can trade are one-use items, like name tags or paints. The only way you could buy yourself a premium is if you were traded the necessary amount of items to buy it with.

An upgrade to premium will cost you 3 Mann Co. Supply Crate Keys...no one will trade with you, as they cannot receive anything in return.
Alternatives would be...
Purchase The Orange Box.
Have a friend that trusts you to make that trade for the Premium Upgrade.
Purchase anything in the Mann Co. Store. ($5 Minimum)

Get some prepaid credit card from Walmart ($15 ones) and add at least $5 in Steam then purchase a cheap item in the Mann Co. Store and voila you're premium

Or or or...so you don't have to cough up information, and get a discount, go to a GameStop and get a Steam Card for your wallet. You can even trade in games towards the voucher. Or, go to another retail and cough up some moolah, flat, *with no fees I believe*, to get all the dosh in your account. Safe and easy!

Just that transfer from the F2P newb going to a Premium noob. I wonder why people are constantly asking on some of the regular TF2 gameplay servers, if I'm Premium. What kind of question is that, all you need to kill people is any kind of account and good skills, expensive hats and trade won't do that!

im not actually a noob but not that great of a player either...i just wanted the premium cause of the extra inventory space...

no one said anything about premium being the definition of 1337...how did you get that from someone saying they havent watched powerpuff girls for a long time? XD

also are boxes worth anything these days?
