edit: then i got an atari 600 with audio cassette loader, what a miserable experience that was, 20 minutes of horrible screeching to load a shitty game. then finally nes ripoffs appeared in the motherland !!!

Ya +1 47, some of my earliest games were on the very first Intels, like the Pentium 166Mhz, that shit cost my family $4000 LOL

Even before that though, we had games on 1.44" DISK lol

used to play games on the old commodore on the big old floppy disks... good times

I had a computer from the 80's which used dos and had i think orange or green text. Had 3 1/2" floppy's which I used to play games lol.

nahh the pc i had was like a x86, dont rememebr which one, but not the 486 . internet was unheard of. the os was a blue screen with columns of directories, similar to the current windows explorer in details mode, just from 20 yrs ago. what was that os called i wonder.

I still use newsgroups for all of my downloads. it started with roms / mp3s / pictures, now you can pull 20 gig HD video rips off of them.
