Tesla was silenced by the Western capitalists. This is why the Americas use 120V - it's inefficient and requires re-transmission towers every 'X' short distance, and thus costs much more, whereas Europe uses 240V - efficient and requires re-transmission towers every 'X' long distance, and thus costs much less.
Teslas models would have cost far less than anything today, and thus could not be capitalized upon, much like a lot of his other designs. It's sad, really, because humankind could have been far more advanced than it is today.

I saw a quick online documentary on a guy in the Philipines that had a car that ran off of sea water, no catches. He open the engine and showed it. Amazing..
