sick. make sure u get an ssd with that. hdd's are bottlenecks.

isnt the rampage 3 triple channel ram, lga 1366 !? also that psu is a bit overkill.

ALSO, look into the i5 2500k, it apparently kills the older i7's and the mobos are cheaper and newer for that chip.

Thx for the advice , luckily I haven't bought the parts yet . I just need a pc that can run bf3 and the next 3-5 years pc games =P btw when I access the website on iPhone a app advertisement pops up everytime I go to a new page

Antec Three Hundred Gaming Case ATX 3/0/(6) 2xUSB Audio (No PSU) 44.99
Antec TP-750 Truepower New 750W Continuous Power Supply 84.88
Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 Socket 1155 Intel P67 164.99
Intel Core i5-2500K Quad-Core Socket LGA1155, 3.30Ghz, 6MB L3 Cache, 32nm 229.99
Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 74.99
EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked 1024MB GDDR5 230.99
Intel X25-M 160GB 2.5" SATA2 Solid State Drive 249.88
Hitachi Deskstar 5K3000 2TB 3.5" SATA3 6Gb/s 32MB Cache OEM 67.99

~1300 bucks with tax@canada computers, picked the older intel ssd because they have worked very well for me, i don't trust any other ssd yet including the new intels. also missing optical drive, i'd probably just use an old one, cause it's mostly useless.

also would get new monitors, probably dual setup.

edit: or $600 rig minimal specs to play games, ps3 and a tv for my bedroom lol

Yea you don't need that PSU unless you want to CrossFire two 6870's

47's right look at a LGA1155 socket,
Asus Maximus IV GENE-Z Socket 1155 Intel Z68
Or
Asus P8P67 (Rev. 3.0) Socket 1155 Intel P67

Both are decent motherboards IMO but aren't over kill.

If you're just gaming get the i5-2500k and OC it. If you do any video work at all get the i7, multi-threading is so damn nice to have encoding video.

SSD is key, regular HD's just don't cut it anymore.
