Nah, this rig came with tonnes of software/remote for win media center/ 1 TB HDD/ logitech 5.1 speakers/ samsung 22" widescreen 2ms/ and free year pass for XVIDEOS. can't really remember when I bought this beast, could of been more than 5 years ago for all I know.... drugs are bad, mmmmkay! :)

XVIDEOS! lol ... I guess with the monitor and the 1TB HDD (both would have been more expensive back then), and the software... maybe.

As for the overclocking... paying for a G0 stepping Q6600 and not overclocking it

I'm afraid to fry this one, like my P3 733 that I overcooked to 1.3ghz way back

my bios wont let me change volts or core speeds, ASUS poop.

ASUS rocks for overclocking, it must be a old bios or you didn't find the "manual" setting. What mobo are you on? Sounds like a P5K or P5Kc. Just curious... don't want you outside of your comfort zone, and from the quick reading I did, while a Q6600 on an ASUS P5K or P5Kc are capable of some great overclocks, it looks like there's a lot of trial and error as well as time involved... haha

4 years old and you're worried about warranty? i overclock brand new parts, that's like the first thing i do...though right now i'm oonly running 3.2ghz...i had my Xeon 3110 wolfdale at 4.3ghz on air, using the same motherboard i have now...
