No pans? =(

I was on the Toronto #2 server earlier today and I went to pull out my DemoPan troll loudout, but I couldn't. I thought it might be a HUD glitch on my end, so I went and found a new HUD (better). And I tried again but it still wouldn't work.

I then caught the chat and apparently pans are banned? Did something happen with them?

Why are the pans being hated on? =(

In all seriousness, I'm not complaining, I'm just curious. :3

They are annoying as fuck and people will spend hours making that god-awful pan sound.

I actually had to kick an idler who had it set up that he was against a wall and scripted the m1 key to go off every second so the pan noise would continue.

They aren't worth the hassle.

I did that once a long time ago - came back to be glitched in the wall.

While most 'game-play' weapons and actions are normally allowed, it's the opposite here in a trade server. For example, nearly all game-play servers don't allow grieving (Playing as Civilian, 'Friendly' Heavy, etc.) this sort of behavior's welcome in a trade server. While all weapons are allowed on a normal game-play server, in a Trade Server, since the objective is to trade and be retarded, some weapons were disabled due to massive complaints. (As mentioned earlier, someone turning on W+M1 with a Pan or Minigun) We had the Vaccinator banned at one point due to causing a crash to the servers. (Until it was patched)

We can't please everyone, you take what you can get.

Glad to hear the pans are gone though, I don't get why people insist on using them against the wall. Sure, against people it's funny hearing their skulls cave in but...come on, are you trying to find ways to annoy us, just for the sake of being an idiot?
