NEW DEDICATED SERVER! Thoughts? Comments? Concerns? Plz Let Us Know!

As most of you know, Prop graciously helped prep and setup our new servers on our new dedicated host (Carat). It would be great to get some feedback from the community so if there are any things you notice or would care to comment about please do!

Pros, Cons, Crashes, Errors, Bugs, Lag, Registry, Etc. It would be good to know about anything so the TD Community can improve the gaming experience!

We are having some crash issues I am looking into it bear with me.

same old same old, I get 3ms higher ping on the new host (use to get 5ms now up to 8ms no biggy for me), but heard lot of other players have improve in ping, so that's a +1.

yeah I seem to have an increase of mine also. but the 5 ms increase shouldnt make much difference LoL

Hey there, Justin just told me you guys got a box with them. I run blackpulse.ca, we use Carat as well. I've never had a problem with them. Chris and Justin are great to work with :) Enjoy

Hey Brades! Nice site! Yea Justin has been very helpful and so far, the server is running great! We were on a shared box before with XCG. They use PEER1 at 151 Front st but they dont offer dedicated boxes. We looked for months for someone offering dedicated boxes in the GTA with a similar latency as PEER1. We finally found Carat, same if not better ping in some cases. Can't go wrong. :)

And for Hawk Eye, my ping is about the same, and sometimes it goes lower than it did with peer1.

Its temporarily out because Prop is trying to figure out what is caused those crashes. Give it time boys.

I logged on once, and began to cough profusely. Uncontrollable pain, labored breathing and blood in my stool. This new ip literally gave me the HIV-stick.

Plays great though! Worth the hospital bill.

My ping went from 120 to 50. I can't complain

I think its simply great, so far. The crashes were annoying but I'm sure it'll be worked out.

Slightly higher ping, but vastly better registry, my shitty aim was actually killing some people .

Yeah, registry on the GG server was amazing last night. When I aimed and shot at someones head it actually hit, who would have thought?

I noticed teh same thing, slightly higher ping, and higher choke, but registry was way better. I attribute this to serverside FPS...

I never found the registry bad before... you are all just noobies
