What are the benefits of using my mic? I've had one forever, but so much noise at my house it probably wouldn't be the best idea. So mic or not?

Best bet would be to save up a bit for a decent headset with a good noise-cancellation on the mic.

This is community but in the classic competitive I suggest you use a mic in community it doesn't really matter you can just type. Some people they don't use a mic in community because they will get into fights with others. JUST SAYING
