I am personally not feeling radeon anymore, if you are getting for BF3 hold off, there will probably be a new series coming out right near it's release.

My favorite card at the moment is gtx 480, I saw it at Canada Computers for 199. Sold out I think, but can probably get that deal elsewhere if you keep your eyes peeled.

lol What an nvidia biased benchmark :P They have a 480 beating a 6990, I guess they must have turned off one of the 6990 processors lol. I don't trust bullshit sites like that, tomshardware.com or GTFO.

6870 is in your price range and the equivalent card is the 560 Ti, Both are decent cards.

ATI's up there, but it's all preference, I suppose... I've had shit experiences with them (maybe cause there's certain incompatibilities with my current hardware, who knows), so I stay away at all costs...

If you build a computer with ATI in mind you can get just as good if not better preformence than NVIDIA at a much lower price. However you need to build the computer with it in mind. Can't just stick an ATI card into A computer and hope for the best. It depends on your machine and what will work best with your hardware
