I'm New Here
Hello Darkly community. My name is Jacob (Aka LillTuppen). I'm here becuase I was looking for a good Cs community and after checking around this seemed to be the most comfortable one :) So I hope that being an ambitious person I'll get to learn everyone here that's active.
Now; as I'm fresh new to the Darkly community; I really do want to give you a proper introduction to myself, It'll be long but hey, read it if you like! After all, thats what "Hey, I'm new Here" is for, right?
About me
My name's Jacob, as you've read. I was born in Holland and moved to Sweden when I was 8 - sadly I dont remember any of the language. We moved to a little town in the southern region of Sweden called Halmstad. It's not much to say about this town, it has it's pros and cons as every place, I guess. The definitive pro is that it's the perfect size - not too big or to small for me!
Well, now I'm 20, so what am I doing with my life and what do I want to do in my life?
I'm really into exercising at the moment, I'm trying to join Försvarsmakten (The Swedish army) for next year but also at the same time studying at the police academy. My hopes are the I will be accepted for the military education 'til next Autumn and if I enjoy it I'll apply for becoming an soldier, and if I like it so far my next ambition will be going for service in another country, i.e Afganistan.
When that is done, the police academy will be at my feet and hopefully accepting my studies there, and I will be a full trained policeman by the age of 30 or before. I'm very passionated about coming an policeman so I will not stop at anything else =)
And why do I want to be a soldier? It's becuase I like the idea of helping other. I know that being a soldier for Sweden is probably the safest thing in the world - but for me there's a lot of shits going on this world and I feel that it's the most helpful I thing can do with stopping people getting hurt. It seems very naive - yes, but it helps me being motivated and thrives for something more than the average joe!
I also like the disciplin and organisation in the army, I wouldnt doubt that it's a good experience in life, no matter what.
I also do some sports on the sides but mainly it's Ultimate Frisbee and soccer. I watch the local soccer games sometimes, but not much more than that. I dont do much in my daily schedule, I do those things I do as good as I can. I'm just an average kid in his twenties.
I would describe myself as an honest person and a calm one. I dont tend to get mad becuase mad people dont get their thoughts and words straight. It always becomes a blur and the things your trying to get ahead gets mixed up in those emotions instead. So I believe being calm is always the better one - tho not the easiest to become at all times :)
Now, to the gaming part.
I played CS 1.6 a lot when I was younger, and then I stopped becuase my computer broke and seeing as I was only - cant even remember - maybe 13(?), I couldnt afford a new computer. And when I got one, all my friends had left for Source when my current computer could not support. I started playing again on and off about 2 years ago, and now, I've started playing a lot more. So, I decided, why not find a community where you can hang out on? I play almost always alone and no friends to talk to, and that becomes boring after a while.
So, if I wish to join Darkly Community for friends and laughters, and also playing games! And wether I apply for TD membership in the future is something I even dont know, it depends how we all get along, doesnt it? =)

Seeing as I'm apart of your community, I wish to wear the Darkly (Community) Tag in CS:GO.
What I've read is that everony may wear it, Now I can be very mistaken and if that's the case, I apologise for the time in the response.
But it seems like I can't wear the tag as I can't join the steam group. Maybe I get an invite after I do this Introduction(?). As it seems to say here; Darkly Tag
Or do I only get that tag after I've done the TD Recruitment?
I just dont know, if someone would be nice to explain this to me I would be greatly appreciated. If you can't or dont have time to; Thanks anyway! :)
