Finally landed a job offer for the finance industry after getting certifications and months of unemployment and job searching! (finance courses won't expire and I can get licensed soon enough = hundreds of $s not wasted )

Gonna start working for TD Bank Ameritrade Investments as an investment specialist this October. Fuck yeahhhhhh!

It's only a part-time, but its a foot-in-the-door for one of Canada's biggest banks and they have full benefits for part timers after 3 months. I hear there is lots of opportunity for job mobility, so thats awesome too.

I'm just glad to finally get a steady paycheck again. ^________^

It is its own separate financial division within TD that deals with stocks, futures, cash + commercial paper and other investments including mutual funds, fixed income sec. Most things I am still unlicensed for atm but I will be dealing in MFs and fixed income at the start. They'll pay for my future cert. courses which is nice since most are $1G or more.
