How to derank?

I've been playing on my smurf and been trying to derank it, but instead i got it up to eagle =(, how do i derank to silver? I just feel like i'm letting my team down everytime i try to play like shit and i also hate losing. Anyways to derank besides playing like a shitty?

Seriously though, 've heard quitting can help, especially when it makes your team lose. i.e. carry a team and then bail out.

Also, why do you wanna derank?

pretty sure quitting can get you banned up to 7 days, and i want to help somebody improve their game starting from the bottom.

Well since Comp determines your rank based solely off win/loss ratio, the logical thing to do would be to make sure your team loses.

Team killing, public callouts on chat and generally playing bad will all help. This works best during clutch games and moments, when the stakes are high. Do it too early on and they'll kill you.

..no there isnt
trust me

me and a friend tried our hardest to get placed in a low bracket. We literally threw like 15 games in a row, and then pounded out the 10 wins to get placed..
we got placed in eagle.

this is not meant to offend anyone, but getting placed in silver is way harder than getting smfc...
after 4 smurfs, ive realized that it just isnt worth it. even if you get placed in silver, after like 10 games of playing normally you will just be a badge.. so fuck it

its not just win/lose.
your kdr/ objective play also gets worked in there.

so the more consistent your wins are, the faster you rank up? gotta keep the win loss ration pretty low i guess, maybe 1W:3L?

pretty much to get silver you need to get crushed every game you lose, and get carried every game you win

as well as the ranks of the people you kill and who kills you.

I ranked up in a match the other day going 15-22 because everyone on the other team was 2-3 ranks higher than me

That would make more sense if you ranked up during a loss, but i don't think that happened?

So wait, I don't get it, you guys use "fake" accounts to put yourself in lower brackets, to poon newbs.

Seems questionable at best, and faggor at worst.

I hope so. I get constantly paired with idiots and derank because I lose to a team of nova 3/masters when all my teammates are silvers/nova 1-2. :feelsbad:

I don't do that, only use my main account....but I run into many people who do that while playing

If you wanna be silver, you gotta play like a silver. It's a tough task, but if you really want it, sometimes you gotta do things you don't like.

just to make paying 3 dollars for a fresh account worth it. so you get more games out of it until you are against cheaters again.
