How do you get a crazy person to leave you alone?

Hello friends I am currently have a problem and have absolutely no clue how to proceed. So to make a long story short I had a girlfriend over a year ago who I was with for about a month and things were going great but she cheated on me so I kicked her ass to the curb (left her). She tried to get me back but I want nothing to do with her. I blocked her on just about every social thing I can think of but she still is not leaving me alone. As of she has been literally stalking me. Not to the point where she is sitting outside my house at night with a pair of binoculars, but she is waiting at my college in her car just so she can see me when I finish with my classes for the day. I have to wait for my brother on certain days so I just sit back and take a nap in my car. However I always see her get in her car before I do but she doesn't leave until my brother and I leave. She has followed me home on a couple occasions which raised a few questions. Knowing all of this I assumed she really wanted to talk to me especially after I ignored her for several months. I finally sucked it up and tried to talk to her and here is what was said and I quote,
Me: We need to talk
Her: "Says nothing"
Me: This is serious we need to talk now.
Her: I don't want to talk.
Me: We NEED to talk. This is important.
Her: Don't yell at me.
Then she walks away. I am completely dumbfounded. She waits around just so she can see me and when I finally talk to her she simply doesn't want to talk to me. I have no clue what the heck is going on in her brain and have no clue how to get rid of her. Thoughts? Looking for legitimate advice here, not quick and stupid solutions.

Like Rams said, restraining order.

First though I would try changing your routine. She seems to know when your classes are done and waits for you. Stick around in the buildings until your bro is ready to leave. Park somewhere else (different lot, block or two away).

If she still stalks you though you may seriously have to pursue legal options.

I like this idea but @Rams nailed it on the head.

She had no faith in you, why should you give that trust to her again, so you can start round two?

As for the conversation between you two, sometimes you cannot predict what goes on through people and their minds. It seems like she is either trying to fish for some sort of sympathy, to feed off your emotions or she wants to see you suffer. Or worse, you are paranoid and believing what you are seeing instead of moving on. Ignore her and if she persists, let her waste her time. You should enjoy the attention you are getting and move on with your life.

Well i would ignore her but just seeing her or knowing that she is near kind of gives me a bad memory over and over. I would prefer not having to feel that over and over if I can. If she doesn't want to talk restraining order seems like a good idea.

Those memories you will have to get past. You cannot make her go away, even with an order. Sure, she could face legal trouble it it gets to that point but unless you are willing to stuff her in a body bag and ship her to China, this is something you will have to deal with until you graduate or move from there.

Ok the thing is yes I can live with the memory however her constant and presence in my weekly routine is making the memories that much more painful to bear. I want her to just stay away from me, if she was a decent human being she would comply and respect that however I got stuck with a crazy one that wont leave me alone. She actually called me and left a message saying she is "ready" to talk. I hardly believe this but I am going to lay it all out in hopes that she finally leaves me alone. Hopefully things work out for the better.

Just ask her straight up why she stalking you. What the fuck does "we need to talk" even mean? You're already talking when you say that, but it doesn't say a goddamn thing, so why even bother saying it?

Hard story to believe I get that but its true. I am just ignore her unless she makes the effort to talk to me in person otherwise I just don't give a damn anymore. Thanks for your feedback guys its appreciated.
