First off, sorry to confuse you with your member "47". I used to use this name, but now I spell half of it (incorrectly on purpose) for some sense of uniqueness. I have been using this name since quake 2 cause I was born on April 7th (4/7) and the number has significant meaning to me every day.

I'm sure you'll see me around the TD cs pub server, probably really late because I do way too much shit in the run of a day :X. I gave up on cs for years (multiple times) due to the people it attracts nowadays, but I'm going to get back into making maps.

I bought hl2 gold when it first came out because I used to map for HL1 engine, and before that quake 2, but I hated CS:S and HL2 so much & pretty much stopped playing games around then so it never went anywhere. About two years ago I made some maps, some of them were pointless so I never bothered uploading them, here's the two I did.

http://www.gamebanana.com/maps/134386 <- cs_fellujah, this was a test to see how good framerate I could get without following standard BS mapping procedures. If you don't know what this is, you'll notice most maps have specific areas which require you to go through smaller areas to get to. This is for the "Vis" part of the engine which controls your video card to only render what area you're in. Fellujah is the opposite, it is one giant area. It would be fun but everyone just ends up sniping, and I should have made it de_ not cs_. 1.5 weeks for completion (including tons of custom textures).

I'm working on a new map, that will be "normal", and after finishing it I'm totally down to do any requests if you guys want anything specific. I fully understand the HL2 engine for maping capability and entity use.

Welcome to the site! Have you ever mapped for TF2? I would like to get a custom DARKLY TF2 map for one of our trade servers.

Thanks guys. Brades, as far as I know TF2 runs on the Source engine but the Source SDK doesnt have an option for TF2 when you start a map? :X I'll look into it, I haven't made one before but if I can get my editor working for it I'll do er up in no time ;D

we are basically looking for a map like trade_rawr(the map we have on atm) but also with a few hiddle rooms you must no clip or teleport too. And also our name and web url plastered all over it :)
