dvd player for vista / windows 7

Anyone knows a good and free DVD player that will work on Vista or 7?

they are all free if you know where to look. I've used Powerdvd and VLC. VLC is free but you would have to torrent powerdvd

Yeah but shareware and doesn't have half the feature of VLC. I can resync the sound or the subtiles with the video for example.

media player clasic VLC has alot of adio sliping problems on files 720i+ but it forks great for DVD quality

media player is OK but kind of shitty. There are some DVDs or movies out there where sound quality is not the best and sometimes is hard to understand what they are saying - so sometimes I put on subtitles.

Media player doesn't allow you to use subtitles.
