DENIED Darkly TF2 Server

A kid on the Darkly Tf2 trade_rawr_v1 server, upon seeing my name, Kapp'n [R.I.P Robin William's] began to mock suicide and depression victims. No action was made on him. Once I started calling him out, no action was taken. A mod and two admins came on and ,again, no action was taken. But once I called DARKLY out on it's broken rules, (the rule [told by an admin] was that any player had the right to talk about anything he wants.), I was banned. Just like that.
I criticized darkly and was banned immediately, and the kid who mocked Robin Williams and severe depression victims continued to laugh on and play on darkly servers.
I'm probably guessing this thread will be removed by an admin because of this stupid-ass rule. Thanks darkly.
I'll totally not reccomend anyone to your servers ever again.

TL;DR
"Mocking suicide and depression victims is A-OK on darkly servers! But saying the server is bad IS A NO-NO!"

I don't even care for the fact that I was banned. Just a complaint because that kid still lives happily on darkly servers.

sorry u had a bad experience. this is a grey-area subject that is not clearly defined by the rules of DARKLY, although it may fall under the "trolling" offence. in times like these, it up to the admins to make the decision and see whether you were overreaching to a sorry-ass, weak troll attempt.

I banned you for a month for a variety of reasons.
Insulting Darkly, spam, disrespect and probably a few more I'm forgetting.

You offered no proof of your claims but instead chose to be melodramatic and whine. The situation with Robin Williams is of course tragic and Darkly, by no stretch of the imagination, would mock such a situation.

Bundy was banned for a week for trying to be a troll and insulting Darkly as well.

You don't like how it was handled? Be more cooperative. We worked with what we got, which was you being an asshat that refused to listen.
You don't like Darkly? Oh well. Bye. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Again, I DO NOT CARE FOR MY BAN, I want to see action made on the kid. I BELIEVE THE BAN WAS JUSTIFIED I WILL SERVE IT. Now please deal with the kid who did much more than 'troll'

If you wanted to have the kid dealt, you should've made a Ban Request under "Scammer Reports + Ban Requests" with the provided forms to do so. But due to what Cmp stated. Lack of proof, decided to complain about it here, and disrespecting the community?!?! GL with that. I completely understand the situation by all means, but I will not go into further details with it and I will not be continuing further in this discussion either due to the immaturity.

You're not getting it, Kapp'n. You have provided ZERO proof that he said anything. We can't ban based on what you say he said. We need proof. If you can provide proof of any of the alleged rule violations, I will personally ban the guy myself.

Phase didn't make a single offensive comment while I was on, so I would have no justification in banning him without proof.

Since I was the one you chose to unleash your wrath on Kapp - let me say a word here...

Not liking Robin Williams is not a bannable offense, nor is being insensitive to the tragic circumstances of his death. However, intentionally starting a flame war, spamming a ridiculous amount and insulting the community, the players and the Staff because we didn't enforce your personal preferences are bannable offenses.

News Flash - you are playing a game on the internet, thus guaranteeing 112% that you will encounter industrial-strength morons with an utter lack of respect for anyone or anything. As I told you on the server, you have the option of either listening to these twits, or mute them or even going to another server - but you have no right to demand that everyone conform to your sensibilities. You certainly do not have the right to ignore and/or break server rules because someone said something you didn't like...

Phaze may be guilty of deplorable manners and an infantile self-centered lack of compassion - but you took it upon yourself to make the situation far worse, and your ban wasn't nearly long enough in my opinion.

Took a look at the chat logs and I have come to two decisions.

Decision 1: Phaze will not be punished. There is no evidence to support your claims that he did. His chat logs show nothing, so whatever he said was probably over the mic and unless you have a recording, I can't do anything based on what he probably said. If you have a recording, post a report following the format with a download link to the recording or a link to the video of said recording.

Decision 2: Kapp'n, your time here at Darkly is over and for more than just yesterday's events. I've warned/gagged/muted you several times in the past for breaking various rules and circumventing said gags/mutes. I'd hoped you learned your lesson, but after looking through your chat logs, you obviously haven't. I noticed yesterday that you went on a full rant (including 3 insults to Darkly) before ever contacting an Admin or Mod. Based on these actions, I feel a permanent ban is in order. You may dispute this ban if you wish, but that is up to you.

This topic is closed as there is nothing further to discuss with Phaze.

And for the record, Darkly does not consider suicide and the mockery of suicide to be A-Ok, but as Tick so wisely said yesterday, jokes made in bad taste are not against the rules, unless they violate a different rule, such as insulting the server. Had I heard the alleged comments myself, I would have put a stop to it.
