CSS on Mac

Any of you guys run CSS from your Apple products? Do you get consistently good frame rate?

Yup, I play on my Macbook Pro 17" and 13". I do it through Windows XP partition, not through Steam for Mac. Steam hasn't perfected it yet.

As for fps, I usually set mine to fps_max 65 or fps_max 100

yeah before this machine, i played css for a couple years on my mbp 15''. through bootcamp tho, like sj. haven't tried in osx.

Yea man don't bother with it on Mac yet my FPS was shit on my laptop aswell. Better off using bootcamp and installing windows.

Mine is playable in OSX. it does kinda suck. like SJ said, Steam hasnt been perfected on OSX just yet.

Probably not, Dead Mike, seeing as how css is mostly cpu dependant... but either way, I agree the 8400M GS is kinda weak... I have the 8600M GT (512MB), and it barely hangs on to today's games...
