Why do you want to be a DARKLY TF2 Admin: I would like to become an Administrator because I would like to help the Darkly Community. I come on every day, for at least 5 hours a day. I'm usually on when no other admins are, and the things I've witnessed are sad. It can get hectic; People running from spycrabs, Meet the Medic taunt in the water, even hacking. And most of the time when these things happen, no admins on my friends list are online. And by the time my recording software is out, they've left, or stopped doing it. This is why I feel I should be an admin.

Ok, new unofficial rule, starting now.

If you haven't seen the applicant ingame, don't post. If you don't know who the person is, don't post. If you don't play the fucking game, don't fucking post. These applications have become shitfests because one person says something negative and everyone else piles on. It's stupid, it's unhelpful and it stops now.

We've already established that decisions are not to be made on chat logs alone, so don't make your votes based on that alone. If you want to shit on someone, go shit on yourself or each other in your own threads (pretty sure we have like 5 of those threads now), but stop doing it on Mod apps. If you have a concern, please feel free to post it along with proof or explanation of why it is a concern, but don't jump on the bandwagon because someone else did.

Exceptions will be made for obvious trolls and non-serious apps, I ignore those anyway.

I wish that there wasn't such negative stuff on applications.. I'd say that Ben is very nice to people from what I've seen, he obviously understands the rules from what I see everyday. He doesn't have AIDS, I assure that. +1 From me. Could we possibly just give advice now, instead of crapping on his post? Even if you don't think he's ready at least be supportive and give him ideas to be better.

You talk way too much on the mic and your chat logs are indeed not nice but that is not my only concern with you. Your first post on the forums should not be a mod application it should be a post in the I'm New Here Section. Plus I have only seen you on server #2 for about maybe two weeks? Here is my advice:
1. Become active on the forums.
2. Become active on ALL the servers.
3. Use your mic for primarily trading.
4. Get to know the community and help out when problems occur (!report or calling a staff member that is on.)
5. Obey the rules and don't try and enforce them on other players (If it's something minor like a chat/mic spammer, politely ask them to stop, if it is something worse or they continue then report and let the staff handle it).
6. Staff positions are not given they are earned, if you stick around and help out when you can, be a good guy, good trader etc., and you just might get staff.

7. stop all use of forced perk and console commands and just use the premium effects through there proper menu

Some of this stuff I can admit to. Most of this stuff is not true.

Try hard, that was in my first DAY of being on the server.
Darude - Sandstorm was not just spam. I waited between messages. Also, it's Darude - Sandstorm. :P
Muted for MicSpam. Not exactly mic spam, I was muted by tech for using the mic too much. In conversation, might I point out.
You need evidence for reports. As soon as I get my recording software out, they're gone. (EDIT: After reading over this one, yeah.. you don't NEED evidence, but it's advised.)
As for all those quotes, I'm not admitting to those. I never said any of them. Not to mention I find cursing obsene. The worse words I say are usually damn and hell. And I wouldn't say those are too obsene. I think you're talking about somebody else.

You should not enforce the rules regardless of circumstances. If a player is disobeying the rules and there is no staff on who can handle it you can record what he did and make a a ban report.

they're just trying to give him advice, not hating. staff applications are handled seriously. Also Church, you can reply to multiple people in one post.
