Canadian Music Industry Wants Subscriber Disclosure Without Court Oversight

Honestly I think the music industry should just get a cut of the value added tax (GST). They've fallen on such hard times and need to be supported.

Pfft music industry. Almost all the funds generated from album sales goes to the record label. I support my bands by buying their merchandise directly at their concerts.

If they want to reduce pirating and downloading, reduce the cost of CDs, digital downloads, and DVDs/Blurays.

If we purchase music legally, we should be able to claim each receipt on tax returns.
