Building a new Gaming PC

Building one for my wife and upgrading mine...My qustion is is ATI or Nvidia better for CS:GO , I have the Asus GTX 660ti in my wish list but I was wondering if the 7950 is better , I know both are great cards and will run any game on high settings... I just want the best for CS:GO the rest of the specs are

asus sabertooth r2 mobo
AMD 4300
16 gigs of cas-8 corsair ram
corsair 80i liquid cooler
corsair carbide 500 case
240 gig ssd and 1tb 7200 hd

For go, you can even run a ati 3000/4000-series card, or an equivalent nvidia 6000/7000-series card. It's all about CPU when it comes to that engine. I don't know much about AMD and their lineup, so I can't really help you there. I like the Corsair/Asus choices, they've always been solid for me.
