I wanted a force of nature and he said he had one, so when i went to trade him for two of my stranges he gave me a normal force of nature!!!!

Did you specifically ask for a STRANGE FaN, and even if you didn't he may have just misread/heard what you said specifically.

Because if you didn't then no scam was committed.

And if you did go through with the trade...then more fool you.
These things happen, and you should have double checked that it was strange.

I honestly don't see this as a scam unless he did a quick-switch on you. If he had the normal FaN up for awhile, you should have asked him to put up a strange one instead :P
